WHAT IS A SHOOT OUT?
The Lemonade and Lenses shoot out is a where you will be able to build your portfolio and practice with a small group of photographers with either a child styled shoot or a senior styled shoot. Small group sizes make it easy to chat and make new friends, help each other out, and learn new techniques and poses. Each styled set up will include a fully styled model, look, and surroundings. A stylist and makeup artist will be brought in to make sure everything is put together perfectly. All you need is your camera. Each group will consist of five photographers and an hour with each model (2 child models and 2 senior models). This will allow each photographer plenty of time to get 1-on-1 time with the model and some great shots. A shoot out is not a workshop and no one will be actively “teaching,” but photographers are more then welcome to ask each other questions to learn. A light dinner from Panera, refreshments, as well as goodie bags will be provided. Details on the shoot out are below as well as directions on how to grab your spot. Each photographer can choose either the senior shoot or the child shoot, as they will be going on at the same time.

When : Sunday, May 26th, 2013
Where : Cincinnati, Ohio (exact location TBD)
Time : 4:30pm – 8pm
Availability : Only 20 spots are available. 10 for the child shoot and 10 for the senior shoot.

INCLUDES
Light dinner (Panera Bread) & refreshments

Two hours of shooting (an hour with each model)
Small group sizes of five photographers
All models will have their own styled set up including a natural, organic look, setting, and surroundings
A makeup artist and stylist will be hired for the looks

COST
$200.00 per spot
* Please note a spot is either for the child shoot or the senior shoot since, as they will be going on at the same time.
* Senior shoot includes 2 models and the child shoot includes 2 models.
* Full amount is due at time of booking to hold your spot.
* Please know the fee is non-refundable and if something comes up you will be responsible for finding someone to replace you.

SENIOR MODELS

Shannon Sewell is coming to Cincinnati!

I am so excited to announce that on JULY 21st 2012 Shannon Sewell will be holding a workshop in Cincinnati Ohio hosted by Lemonade and Lenses! Registration opens up on 5.11.12 so mark your calenders because this will SELL OUT!! Seats are limited! E-mail Shannon (shannon@shannonsewell.com) if you would like to be added to the notification list for this event. Put in header “Cincinnati Workshop” so she knows to add you to the list. If you have any other questions about the workshop feel free to e-mail her as well as she would be able to answer your questions better then I would.

Her workshop is an entire day to go over everything from inspired portfolios to post processing to finding inspiration. We will talk about idea conception and carry through, as well as learning your tools to execute all of your ideas. The best part? We will do an actual shoot so we can make all this happen that very day. You will learn.

- How to use your camera, resources and composition to create the images you envision
- Talk about your current portfolio, how to differentiate yourself and showcase YOUR style
- Find where and how to find inspiration to create work that is completely you
- Figure out how to stay constantly excited for your next project
- There will be planning, executing and post production – all hands on

The day runs from 9-4. We will chat the morning away, take a break for lunch and then go have some fun behind the camera! The day wraps up with processing our days images and no secrets left Q&A time.

Folio Love – Cincinnati Ohio

Lemonade and Lenses is teaming up with the talented girls over at Folio Love to bring you an amazing styled event here in Cincinnati. There will be styled sessions for weddings, families, children and seniors. You don’t want to miss this! This two day event will take place on 8.26.12 and 8.27.12.
