Sorry about skipping over our Tuesday’s Theme last week due to me being at WPPI. I completely forgot to set one up to be posted before I left due to all the craziness. Well now that we are back to a normal schedule we can go ahead and resume our weekly project. This weeks theme is STARS. Remember not ever image needs to have a human face in it. Think outside the box and be creative with it!
For those of you who don’t know what our Tuesday Theme is it’s a word we pick every Tuesday, used to be every other Tuesday, to send you photogs out to think, create and capture. The point of it is to help push you out of your comfort zone and to help you grow as an artist. Here are a few guidelines to help you get started. All images submitted for our Tuesday Theme should be an image that is taken after the theme is posted. Remember the point of this is to push your creativity and pulling an image from your archives won’t do this. To submit your image all you have to do is post it to our facebook wall with the theme as the title, it’s as simple as that. We would love to start featuring our favorite Tuesday Themes in our magazine again so please know by sharing your image on our wall you are giving us permission to publish your image in our magazine if we choose to do so and permission to crop the image if we need to so that it may fit. If your image is used full credit will be given along with a link back to your website. You may submit your image for this theme till our next theme is posted next Tues. We had so many ‘AMAZING‘ Tuesday Themes posted to our facebook page this past week! It litterally put a huge smile on my face every time I saw a new one! This week our Tuesday Theme is simple. It just has to be an image taken with your phone. That’s it. You could use an app like instagram. Or not. It’s 100% up to you! I know I will be using my camera to take a lot of pictures once I get to Vegas this weekend!! In honor of Valentines day next week our next Tuesday Theme is going to be HEARTS. Remember to think outside the box!! Not every image needs to have a face in it or even a person. We are so ecstatic to finally bring back our Tuesday’s Theme, I know recently a lot of you have been asking about it and we decided to start it up again with our favorite color YELLOW as the theme.
