I saw that you are doing a zine on pet photography and thought I would throw my name into the mix. This session was shot in the clients home. Junip is a very shy dog, so it was best to shoot in a location that she was comfortable with – and for her this was home. Junip is a rescue of unknown breed and previous living circumstances, but she has finally landed in the right place, sharing her home with two cats (one of whom I captured). Although she is quite the poser, she was still leery of me by the end of our shoot and wouldn’t let me pet her – though she loves to be pet by her parents. As for the bandana, she has a collection of them in various colors and loves to show them off. Junip is a rescue from a local rescue organization here in Victoria BC and she, along with 11 other dogs will be featured in a calendar for 2013.
