I’m a 26 year old natural light photographer focused on maternity, newborn and family photography. I work out of both New York City and Denver and have a very natural and organic style with newborns.
I have fallen in love with capturing the natural beauty of newborns using soft and creamy fabrics and simple poses. My use of different and interesting angles also helps to accentuate this style of photography. I love family shots and there is nothing more special than the love of new parents for their baby. I don’t like to use any props and I think that it’s great to show other photographers that they don’t have to either in order to be successful :) I only use natural light and I live most of the year in manhattan, so I travel to each of my clients small apartments and work with all kinds of difficult lighting situations. I prepare as best I can and adapt to each situation so the parents can be comfortable in their own home without having to travel in the city. I mostly use my 50mm lens but also love using the 85mm when I have enough room to back up. This baby was an absolute doll and he was so beautiful and a joy to photograph.
