I have been a lifestyle/portrait photographer for almost 5 years now, so my children have grown up with a camera in their faces.
To say they have PCS (photographer’s child’s syndrome) is an understatement!
So, in order to get them to co-operate with me for a session I have to get creative. They love getting to help plan a session around things they love- books in this case- and they love helping me come up with an idea for one really cool, seemingly impossible shot.
Like the one below. We could barely get the books to stand up on their own never mind stand a 12 year old on top. This images was taken as a composite and 3 separate images were then combined in photoshop to create the illusion of my daughter standing on a stack of books.
Of course I’m not one to waste an opportunity to get MORE shots when I have a willing and co-operative model;)
