Hello everyone!! As I am sure a bunch of you know who I am I know there are still a lot of you out there that don’t! My name is Lexi Vornberg and I am the co-founder behind Lemonade and Lenses, founder of our magazine, facebook updater, Lemonade and Lenses blogger, e-mail responder, etc, etc… Pretty much I am the person who runs everything behind Lemonade and Lenses. Yep. I do it all. Just me behind my little desk with my cup of tea. I thought it might be a good idea to have individual blog posts introducing the “Lemonade and Lenses Girls” so you guys can get an idea who runs the show behind your computer screen. There is actually four of us right now and we all do something a little different. Give it another month or so and we will be bringing on even more help! So to start us off I thought I would start.
For those of you who don’t know me I am a 23 year old Sagittarius. I am stubborn, impatient and a control freak. I actually think these three things makes up a great artist. I am a photographer, which besides my family, comes first before anything. I run a boutique senior studio in Cincinnati, Ohio that goes by my name, Lexi Vornberg Photography, then Lemonade and Lenses takes up the rest of my free time. I am married to the most honest photo critic you could find and I can’t spell or write for the life of me. Which is funny because I now run a magazine. Kind of ironic as well. Below you can find a list of questions that all of us will be answers so you can learn a little more about us ;)

Why did you become a photog?
I really enjoy the whole process of a shoot from getting to know my clients, to styling their sessions, picking out a locations, photographing them, editing their images and seeing each girls face when they see their pictures. Running my own photography business has literally become a dream job.
If you were not a photog what would you want to be?
A horse or dog trainer. I love riding and will have a horse again someday.
Who are you loyal to.. canon or nikon? and your fav lens?
Canon (7D) and it’s a tough match between my 35mm and my 85mm but I will have to go with my 35mm!! But I do have a blast with my new lensbaby 80 edge optic (tilt shift).
What do you shoot and why? (what is your niche?)
I specialize in high school senior portraiture, for girls, only but I work with models every now and again (only girls between the ages of 16 and 24).
Where do you find inspiration?
Pintrest and music videos. All my styled shoots have been created from inspiration or ideas that came to me while watching a music video then I search and put a board together on Pintrest with all my ideas.
Favorite photogs?
Amanda K, John Urbano, especially his Aerie work, and Elizabeth Messina, especially her work for Ruche. I love editorial inspired work with captured emotion.
Explain your dream shoot?
I can see an open forest with moss all over the trees on a late summer day right after it rained. There is a light fog and steam coming from the ground cause of the rain and beautiful light being filtered through the trees. Then all I would need is a girl in a white dress with long hair and sun kissed freckles and I am set.
What would you say is your weakest point in photography?
Flash… I hate flash! Don’t get it, prob never will and I am too stubborn to even try.
What is the scariest thing in the world to you?
Anything crawly…. eww.
Name one wacky fact about yourself.
I talk to my dogs, and yes I know they understand me.
