I am a photographer based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I mainly focus on natural light photography, but also use studio lighting and off camera flash in some situations. I have been a photographer for 6 years, and my profession was inspired by my growing family and the beauty that I saw in each of my four children.
This family session was taken in a pecan grove. This cute family had four young children (like me), so we decided to go with a fun, action filled shoot. We started out capturing the important classic shots that any mother wants of their children. From there, we let their kiddos loose and let them run free. One of my favorite parts of photographing children is how free they are to share their true personalities. Giving them the chance to hug each other and run allowed them to show that off. Another important part of each family session, that I do, is photographing mom and dad and their connection with each other. I joke that they get to do their “engagement photos” all over again every year with me.
