I am a Maine wedding and portrait photographer– I focus primarily on seniors, teens, and some fashion/beauty work. I really wanted to do a shoot with an artist, and happened to find Lauren, a local high school student who only started her artist journey two years ago. We headed to a local garden that was in bloom and got to show off not only Lauren’s artistic abilities but how gorgeously she fit in with the lush landscape. I love giving my subjects something to do at the beginning of a session– I believe it takes the pressure off of them to perform and allows them to be themselves, which is exactly what I want them to be during our time together!
