This session came together over a simple cup of coffee with a girlfriend from High School and quickly turned into a collaborative shoot with three models, four clothing boutiques, a MUA, florist, hair stylist, and even a vintage rental company.
Shooting in 90+ degree temperatures in Texas, the shoot was fun, fast-paced, and at times challenging! We started the day at my studio at 2:00. Clothes, make-up, hair, dancing and music – we had a blast! I had a lot of help coordinating schedules with vendors and models. This was truly a team effort!
At 6:15 I ran to the field we were shooting at a few blocks from the studio to meet the florist and prop lady. Ten minutes later we had models and the real fun began.
I shot this session on my 5d mark II and the 135 2.0L and 50 1.4 lenses. I used my 42″ reflector to both reflect and diffuse the light as we moved between 3 different sets.
