May Cover Winner

I first want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who entered this month.  We received so many amazing submissions over the last week and I truly wish I could share them all.  We will be posting an honorable mention gallery on our facebook page sharing some of the amazing work that was sent in but don’t be discouraged if you don’t see your image.  Every image that was sent in represents someones hard work and because of that automatically makes it amazing.  I would also like to send out a HUGE thank you to our guest judges this month.  Courtney DeLaura of Peach Tree Studios and Get Schooled, Leslie Kerrigan of Leslie Kerrigan Photography and Seniorologie, Dana Moss of Dana Moss Photography, Gina Weathersby of Kiwi Street Studios and Craig Vornberg, my husband, who is the most honest photo critique you could find.  Heck he has seen every single image I have taken and there has only been one that has passed his standards, lol.  You five rock.  And just so everyone else knows I made sure all the judges had no idea who each image was taken by.
Now on to the announcement everyone has been waiting for.
I am so excited to share the cover to our May’s issue.  Out of over 550 entries I want to send out a GIGANTIC CONGRATS to Anna Kim of Anna Kim Photography!!  Anna your image truly shined.  I also want to send out a GIGANTIC CONGRATS to our runner ups.  Our second place image was just a beautiful and stunning by the talented Amanda K of Amanda K Photography.  Our third place was captured by Megan Robinson of Easy Dreamer Photography and our fourth place was a tie.  Two stunning images, one by Brittany Dow of Brittany Dow Photography and Ryan Kurkowski of Ash & Ember.  Another HUGE CONGRATS to these five photographers.  Out of hundreds of images theirs truly stood out.  For information on entering our June issue’s cover contest, which will be our senior issue.  Please click on the link to the left titles cover contest.  Please do note that this contest does not start for another few weeks.  And as you can tell with these images, as well as our past covers, Lemonade and Lenses LOVES images that really stand out.  So don’t be afraid to think out of the box when sending in your next submission.
