I’ve always wanted to do an authentic 1940s Americana photo shoot, so when I bought this white 40s dress for 4 bucks at a local thrift store, I knew I had the beginning to a great concept.
Next was finding the perfect location, which happened to be this incredible red apple orchard in San Luis Obispo which also had these old tin buildings across the street. Add a vintage American flag, a beautiful model and superb makeup and hair, and ta-da! We are back in the forties!
