My name is lauren and i feel that i have truly been able to call myself a photographer for the past year and a half. I will officially have been in business for one year in October. I just recently upgraded to a 5D Mark ii and i am in LOVE. I mainly shoot children, seniors, engaged couples and weddings but models and weddings are becoming my favorite types of sessions.
This was one of those sessions that i shot just for myself. The model is actually a girl that I work with at my other job. As soon as i met her i knew i had to find some way to convince her to be my model. Within a couple of days of meeting each other I contacted her and asked her to model for me, hoping she didn’t think i was a big weirdo. I had an idea in my head to go for a retro themed shoot for a while and Chelsea was the perfect person to help me transfer the idea from my head into reality. She brought a bunch of clothing choices to my house and we put together several outfits. We then headed to location number one where I could have spent DAYS shooting. There are walls specifically for graffiti artists to showcase their work as well as plain brick walls and general urbaness galore. We ended the shoot in a field where i got some of my very favorite shots. This has been one of my favorite sessions to date.
