About: I have to be honest…I love seniors. As much as I love shooting weddings and engagements, there’s a certain niche in my heart that can’t let go of the feeling of a special one-on-one time I get to spend with an incredible, unique, special young adult. Their eyes speak of joy and relief as 12+ years of hard work and dedication finally commence, and their adult life begins.
Caitlin is a lovely, confident, talented young woman that dreams of living one day in Paris, France. Her love for travel and everything vintage + beautiful shines through her style and personality, and I am so honored to call her my personal friend. We decided to do a shoot recently to celebrate her graduation from highschool and mark this momentous time in her life. Caitlin has spent much of her childhood and teen years dancing for different local studios and companies, one of which was Dayton Ohio’s very own Gem City Ballet. We made sure to incorporate dance into her shoot (despite a recent injury!), and tried to find the most urban chic + vintage + “parisian” locations in the city of Dayton -quite the feat. ;) The Performing Arts Center parking garage became a new favorite location, as well as the Courthouse in the heart of the city! Caitlin has a natural ability to model, and it was no hard task to get her to completely work it in front of the camera. Her beauty shone throughout the entire session…inside and out! :)
