When Ella was very little doctors discovered an aggressive tumor that was diagnosed as a rare tumor called melanotic neuroectodermal tumor of infancy. It was an extreamly rare diagnosis that no one had experience with & it came back a total of 3 times. The last it was decided that the only way to stop it was to remove her entire upper jaw.

Today you can barely see any impact of this in her zestful spirit. We chose to make this session celebrate this childhood stage of hers that is so precious & sometimes forgotten. She loves to color, to read & to blow bubbles, so naturally we brought out who she was. As parents, we should remember their funny sense of humor, their creative drawings, the way words sound coming from such a little voice & that sense of wonder that grows up too fast. Miss Ella, I hope you keep your light shining bright in this world, that you dream beyond your wildest imagination & that your fight may always be as strong as it has been until now. This session was a celebration of childhood as it should be, bright & colorful!
