Hello, my name is Stephanie Matthew and I am a natural light photographer based in Temecula, California. I shoot children and families but I am totally falling in love with shooting kids. This was a session at a secret beach with a girl about to turn nine years old. With her blonde, wavy hair I knew she would be perfect at this spot. The weather had been gray all day and I knew I wanted the girl to blend in with the sand and the sky so we picked out this light, creamy dress. I wanted her to look almost pearl like in a way, dreamy and beachy. The beach was almost like a second subject too, it was so beautiful with the sun rays peeking out of the clouds and the white waves.
